Ditmore Homeplace
Hydro, Oklahoma is located approximately 60 miles west of Oklahoma City on I-40 (formerly Route 66). It sits right on the Caddo and Blaine County line. It has never been a large town and there are probably more people buried in it's cemetery than actually live there now. It has always been a farm community. This is where my mother was born and raised. It's also where she and my father are buried, along with several generations of my family.
